Members and friends enjoyed two outings this July, the first to Burrow Farm Gardens near Axminster, where a sunny day encouraged exploration of the 13 acres and many garden rooms.  It was very pleasant to sit under the shady area by the tea rooms and partake of refreshments.

More warm weather accompanied the guided tour of Stonelands Garden where the head gardener, Saul Walker, explained the fascinating history of the house and how the gardens evolved to their current layout.
