Welcome to the Dawlish Garden SocietyThe society has been in existence since 1863 and seeks to promote all aspects of gardening and horticulture, particularly those of interest to its members. The society organises regular events including talks on all aspects of gardening, visits to gardens and other places of horticutural interest and talks by guest speakers. In 2006, Carol Klein gave a talk on Plants for Places which drew an audience of almost 300. Membership is currently around 55 and new members are always welcome. Alternatively click 'contact us' to get in touch with our secretary. Membership fees are currently £6 per annum, plus an attendance fee of 50p per meeting. Where an event requires an entrance fee, this is charged separately.
